You might be wondering who Azalia is, and Bass has shared quite a background to the main character:

“‘Azalia’ is one of the two main protagonists in our story. She is a former warrior monk who has thrown off her religion to become an assassin,” explains the singer, whose solo music is inspired by KISS, Van Halen and Pearl Jam.

“Dedicating her life to the insurgency against the WAL and Legion, and to killing every official who had anything to do with her mother’s death. In the song ‘Azalia’ we find her on the run for her life with the government’s demons close behind. She will have to rely on her tenacity in order to not give up, and on her natural abilities to survive. The keys to which are contained within a gift her mother gave her as a child.”

‘Azalia’ lyrics:

Get your guns and save your last breath for the ones
With no choice, no freedom, no shelter, no voice
And you might be wise
So young and starry-eyed, you might get away with murder
If you move
Dear Azalia what did you do?

[Pre-Chorus]
He left me alone
So I left him for dead (Hey!)
He took out my future
So I took off his head (Hey!)
The dogs are getting closer I’m dying on the run (Hey!)
The demons in the hills and they’re coming

[Chorus]
Oh Hey Ya! The devils arе coming down the mountain
Oh Hey Yeah! You can’t stay, livе to die another day
Oh Hey Ya! The legions are gathered at your doorstep
Azalia the demons are here the wolves are at the gate
Oh Hey Ya! The devils are coming down the mountain

Girl you’re cold, It’s not like you do what you’re told
But there’s change in fear and in pain and knowing you’ll never get old
You’re scared cause you’re tired, you’re mired in doubt
And the weak side of you says you’re dying
We can fall on our swords and never get bored
Or live by the knife and die trying

[Pre-Chorus]
These walls are getting closer
I’m getting sick of running
I can hear them in the hills and they’re coming

[Chorus]
Oh Hey Ya! The devils are coming down the mountain
Oh Hey Yeah! You can’t stay, live to die another day
Oh Hey Ya! The legions are gathered at your doorstep
Azalia the demons are here the wolves are at the gate

[Bridge]
You can’t give up when you got no shame
But it doesn’t hurt to try
Spent seven days in the pouring rain
Now that’ll let you know that you’re alive
When all that’s left are enemies
But they’re all dressed up as friends
Words have lost their meaning and there’s no one to defend
When they’re singing Hallelujah (Hallelujah)
And the air stops moving in your lungs
Until then, you know you’re never done
Azalia you’ve only just begun
Besides, you were born out on the run
So you better run
You better run
Run!
Run!
Azalia! RUN!!

[Chorus]
Oh Hey Ya! The devils are coming down the mountain
Oh Hey Yeah! Let ‘em stay, we’ll kill them all another day
Oh Hey Ya! The legions are gathered at your doorstep
Azalia the demons are here the wolves are at the gate
Oh Hey Ya! The devils are coming down the mountain
