It’s certainly a challenge to read mean comments about yourself. How did Avenged Sevenfold handle it?

Whether or not you like Avenged Sevenfold, you’re guaranteed to have fun watching the video below, where the band members comment on their haters’ mean tweets.
The videos of stars reacting to mean tweets about themselves became viral thanks to the American show Jimmy Kimmel Live. But why can’t musicians record such reaction videos themselves? After all, everyone loves reaction videos. So the group did exactly that. However, some of the guys from Avenged Sevenfold seem to be taking the brutal comments too seriously…

“Whether or not you like us, that’s your opinion, but yeah, they can suck it,” drummer Brooks Wackerman says at the end of the clip. He looks upset for real.
“Dear wedding reception outside my hotel. Listen to Avenged Sevenfold somewhere else, like in hell where that shit belongs,” the rockers read in one tweet. But hey! Isn’t it already a compliment in itself that a couple chose the band’s music to for their wedding? Well, see how the band members react to that…
The meanest tweet the band was offered to comment on went like this: “Avenged Sevenfold make me want to rip off my ears. Put them in a blender and force the remains down a baby’s throat. Horrible music,” to which Johnny Christ was wondering: “How is the music as horrible as forcing something down a baby’s throat? It can’t be that fucking bad?!”
