DISTURBED Announce 2016 Canadian Tour With SAINT ASONIA

1936

Disturbed have added a Canadian portion of shows, which will precede earlier announced 2016 North American dates

November 24, 2015

Disturbed made a a lot of noise on the metal scene when they broke the hiatus this Fall and gave the world their new record, Immortilized. The band earlier announced 2016 North American tour dates, mostly with U.S. cities and today a Canadian portion of shows was added to their schedule. Saint Asonia and Age of Days will be Disturbed’ support on the new tour leg.

The just-announced Canadian dates will actually precede the previously known North American dates, which might come as a bit of a surprise to Disturbed fans. Well, when it comes to such nice surprises, the more the better. The added portion of performances will kick off on February 12 and run for 10 days with a short break in between the strictly Canadian and following North American run, which will start on March 11.

Canadian gigs will be opened by Saint Asonia and Age of Days. Saint Asonia is Adam Gontier’s new band since he left Three Days Grace. While Gontier is on the vocals, the guitar is in the hands of Staind‘s Mike Mushok, which is why the act is frequently called a supergroup. Saint Asonia’s self-titled debut album, released a few months ago, got positive reviews and produced singles like ‘Better Place’ and ‘Let Me Live My Life’.
