This past weekend at their show in England FOO FIGHTERS invited Queen/Led Zeppelin members onstage to perform legendary hit ‘Under Pressure’

Foo Fighters never cease to surprise their audiences on tour. Last Saturday, September 5 during their huge show in Milton Keynes, England, Dave Grohl called onstage Queen drummer Roger Taylor and Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones to play together Queen and David Bowie’s undying rock tune ‘Under Pressure’. The day, September 5, was chosen for a reason: the band’s Milton Keynes Bowl concert happened on the day that could would have been Freddie Mercury’s 69th birthday. And ‘Under Pressure’ was one of Mercury’s most favorite Queen songs.
Roger Taylor and John Paul Jones appeared on the stage in the middle of the show, to rock the ecstatic crowd with the famous Queen’s hit. “Something nice and special just happened an hour and a half ago,” said Grohl. “A couple of our friends turned up and we thought it’d be nice to do a song together … Now look, I don’t know if y’all have ever seen a supergroup. This is a ‘superdupergroup.’ I don’t even know what to say because this kind of s–t doesn’t happen every day. Let me just tell you that the Foo Fighters, right now, are living out our rock n’ roll fantasy with you tonight.” (via Loudwire)
Led Zeppelin bassist was playing keyboards while Roger Taylor was doing the drums part. What was Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins doing then without his instrument? Dave Grohl gave him the mic to sing the vocals parts together!
