Up-and-rising Danish guys from New Politics have recently visited Los Angeles BalconyTV to perform their hit ‘Girl Crush’ unplugged. The band’s frontman, David Boyd, impressed the presenter not only with his signing skills but also with a short breakdance solo at the end of the performance. It’s a must-see video, which you can see below.
‘Girl Crush’ is a hilarious track from New Politics’ new album, Vikings, released in August. The band is currently touring the US promoting the new record. Their last 2015 show this year will take place in Los Angeles on December 8.
New Politics is a Danish pop-punk/alt-rock act from Copenhagen, formed in 2009. The group is a trio which consists of David Boyd, Søren Hansen, and Louis Vecchio. Before 2015′ release of Vikings album, the band put out two albums, New Politics in 2010 and A Bad Girl in Harlem in 2013. Danish rockers became world-famous for their hits ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah’ and ‘Harlem.’
