Though Decade’s upcoming album is titled Pleasantries, their new clip isn’t entertaining at all
December 15, 2016
If there was an award for the hardest-to-watch music video, English band Decade would take home the statuette hands down, as the three minutes of their new clip for ‘Peach Milk’ are far from easy watching. The song is taken off their upcoming album, Pleasantries.
In the video you’ll see the band’s frontman Alex Sears tied up, being dragged over sand towards the sea in the most monotonous manner. The band was self-ironic enough to introduce the clip with the following words: “Here’s a video we made ourselves for our weird song ‘Peach Milk’ taken from our weird new record”. For an objective picture, they should have actually started with “Here’s a weird video…”.
Earlier, Decade launched a music video for the song ‘Daisy May’, also featured on the new album, which is due for release February 24. Those who pre-order Pleasantries now will receive an instant download of two new tracks from the upcoming record.
Decade will round off this year with a one-off show, named Fireball UK and BL∆X Christmas Ball. The pre-Christmas gig will be headlined by Don Broco, with support from The Zipheads and Sweet Little Machine.
See if you can watch the band’s new video ‘Peach Milk’ till the end. What do you think of it? Share your thoughts in the comments, and join AlteRock Facebook and Twitter to stay tuned for rock and metal news.
