THE OFFSPRING announce release of 11th album, Supercharged: “This is the best we have ever sounded”

The Offspring promise “pure energy from the start to the finish” on the upcoming record

Punk rock legends The Offspring are full of energy and cannot wait to share it with their fans. Following their powerful 2021′ album Gone Away, the band is ready to present their 11th album, Supercharged. The record, produced by Bob Rock, is due out October 11 via Concord Records. The lead single of the album, ‘Make It All Right’, features the rockers’ longtime collaborator Josh Freese.

Supercharged stands up to its name: it’s an emotional rollercoaster, a quintessence of our aspirations, desires and struggles. It’s also about support of the people we love, people who are always there for us, picking us up when we are feeling low.

“We wanted this record to have pure energy — from the start to the finish! That’s why we called it SUPERCHARGED. From the height of our aspirations to the depths of our struggles, we talk about it all on this record…in a way that celebrates the life that we share and where we are now. Our single ‘Make It All Right’ is a great example of this because it talks about the people in our lives who make us feel strong when we are feeling low – our partners in crime who make us feel all right”, says Offspring leader Dexter Holland.

“The album was recorded in three different locations this time around: Maui, Vancouver, and our home studio in Huntington Beach, and together with our producer Bob Rock everything came out awesome. I feel like this is the best we have ever sounded! We’ve been rocking out and headbanging to it for months! And we can’t wait for you guys to hear it!”

One of The Offspring’s recent tour highlights was inviting Ed Sheeran onstage at BottleRock Napa Valley last week to perform ‘Million Miles Away’ from album Conspiracy Of One. Sheeran admitted Conspiracy Of One was the first album he ever bought. “I used to pretend to be in their band in the mirror and sing along to the album when I was 9, mostly to their song Million Miles Away as it was the first song of theirs I heard,” he wrote on Instagram.
