‘Even If It Kills Me’ marks the band’s first new song in three years

The track debuted live last night at the band’s show in Berlin, as their Rise of the Roach tour kicked off. The new single opened the set, making it a world premiere. ‘Even If It Kills Me’ is the first new music from Papa Roach in three years. The song takes the listener back to the band’s hard-rock roots that many of you might have been craving. Along with the new single, Jacoby Shaddix & co. officially opened their extensive Rise Of The Roach tour today. The live marathon includes European venues as well as North American arenas, with more gigs to be added soon. The tour is a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the band’s breakthrough album Infest.

As the new single is peaking fans’ interest, the hype for Papa Roach’s recent collaboration with Carrie Underwood on ‘Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark)’ is still on. The track is enjoying its momentum, having garnered nearly 200 million streams worldwide. In addition, the song and campaign were recognized in the 2025 Clio Music Awards, winning a Bronze award for Social Good.
When asked by Germany’s Rock Antenne if Papa Roach are planning to release a new album soon, Shaddix confirmed fans can expect to see the new record later this year:
