Slipknot’s frontman Corey Taylor, who recently underwent spinal surgery after breaking his neck, reportedly suffered a hard fall during the show taking place at Atlanta’s Lakewood Amphitheatre last night, June 29. Watch the incident video footage below.

The band resumed their US tour, kicking off with a Nashville gig on Tuesday, June 28, just a few weeks after Taylor broke his neck and had a disc replaced. The singer was wearing a special neck brace for the time of the performance, but the show didn’t go as smooth as planned. After the frontman fell down during the gig, he reportedly “couldn’t walk when they picked him up” (via Blabbermouth). The singer was rushed backstage immediately, one fan said. Another one added that the singer “had to be supported out” at the end of the gig.

Alterock-corey_taylor_-_carried_off_stage_-_atlanta“Throughout the show he was clearly in pain from his neck but still clearly gave it all he could,” one fan reportedly commented. “He was shaking and looked to not be in a good way as they pulled him off.”

Despite the accident, Taylor later tweeted to his fans not to “worry”, reassuring he was “okay” but adding “DAMN it hurt” about the fall. Earlier this month, following the neck surgery, the doctors told the vocalist to avoid headbanging” or jumping onstage for the nearest future. Check out the singer’s tweet and the live footage of the incident below.

The band’s tour will continue without any changes. Slipknot are curreently doing a co-headlining tour with Marilyn Manson in North America, with direct support from Of Mice And Men. The tour will wrap up August 5 and will be followed by co-headlining Slipknot/Black Sabbath festival Ozzfest Meets Knotfest, taking place September 24-25 in San Bernardino, California.
