The band could not wish for more as they received an honorary Soldier Appreciation Award, which many decades ago went to Elvis Presley

Five Finger Death Punch have been awarded with a highly honorary Soldier Appreciation Award from the Association of The United States Army, which came as a big suprise for the band. FFDP took to Facebook to share this awesome news, adding that they are “truly humbled” because “the only civilian that has ever received this award was Elvis Presley many decades ago”. Check out below the band’s Facebook post published a few hours ago.

The rockers are wrapping up their European tour this week, with the last show to take place in London on SSE Arena, Wembley on November 28. A couple of days ago we informed you that FFDP took a decision to cancel their show in Milan, Italy after the reports that it was a potential target of an ISIS terrorist attack. The band is finishing out their European tour without Papa Roach, which were initially announced to join forces with FFDP. Papa Roach dropped off the remaining tour dates due to “logistical challenges and uncertainties” following November 13 terrorist attacks in Paris.
