Big news, ladies and gentlemen. It’s only been 1,5 years since Marilyn Manson launched his album The Pale Emperor, and a follow-up is already on the horizon. During his interview with Alternative Press, the rocker shared plans for his next album.

First, Manson revealed the album title. And he did it in quite an unusual way. The singer asked the interviewer to lend him a marker and drew “Say10″ on his hand. Why “Say10”? Read the title aloud and you’ll get the word play.

Second, he promised the new record to be released on Valentine’s Day (February 14) in 2017. It’ll be Manson’s 10th album (so we might be expecting an anniversary soon afterwards). Check out the interview below.

Earlier, Manson had hinted at the upcoming new album in November last year, during the interview with KEGL. He mentioned working on new music with his bandmates Tyler Bates, Twiggy Ramirez and Gil Sharone. The artist also mentioned that on the new record the band intended to take a completely different musical direction.

Another piece of news is, this past Monday, July 20, Manson was awarded with a statuette ‘Icon Award’ at the Alternative Press Music Awards, which took place in Columbus, Ohio.

This summer Manson is on a North American tour, which he is co-headlining with Slipknot. The tour had to be paused for a while after Slipknot’s frontman Corey Taylor had to undergo emergency spinal surgery. The tour dates were put off and the trek was then stretched until August 27.
