NOFX Frontman Fat Mike stopped the set to ask a hipster-looking fan to leave the show and offered him $100 for that

As unbelievable as it sounds, in the middle of a recent NOFX show on the Fat Wrecked For 25 Years Tour, the punk-minded frontman Fat Mike interrupted the show for a few minutes and offered one of the fans in the front row $100 to leave the venue (via ConsequenceOfSound). “You have no business being here,” the singer said with bossy intonation in between the songs. “I will pay you $100 to leave this show. Are you gonna stand in front and bother me all day with your fucking tie-dye shirt and your beard?”
Another band member was repeating, “No hipsters. No hipsters in the front row”. In the end, the fan didn’t react anyhow to the bold request, so Mike came up with another alternative and offered the fan $20 for their shirt. The next thing we see is the frontman passing money and the red shirt flying over from the front row straight into Mike’s hands. It’s not long before the vocalist kicks the shirt away so that everyone could witness his protesting action.
And that’s just a small example of Fat Mike’s aggression onstage. Just last November, at a NOFX show in Sydney, Australia, a fan who climbed onstage to hug Mike hit him in the face and kicked him in the head. The frontman likes demonstrating who is the boss onstage. And on top of his dislikes, one more should be taken into consideration now: be careful not to put on anything hipsterish to NOFX shows.
