During their Paris show Radiohead performed ‘Creep’ and debuted ‘True Love Waits’ in the new album arrangement

Last night, May 23, Radiohead rocked the Paris arena Le Zenith, where they performed 1993′ hit ‘Creep’ for the first time in 7 years. Thom Yorke introduced the song with a joke: “This is for the funny guy shouting for ‘Creep’ at the back, if only to shock you.”
‘Creep’ marked a breakthrough for Radiohead in 1993 and landed at #7 in the UK chart, but the band disliked the song and played it live very rarely.
So far Radiohead have played three shows in support of the new album, A Moon Shaped Pool, and the songs included into the concert setlist differ for each venue.
Last night in Paris Radiohead decided to play ‘True Love Waits’ in the arrangement of the new album for the first time. This old Radiohead track has been recorded in the studio format only now, and is featured on the new record. Watch the video footage of both tracks performed in Paris below.
The band is currently in the middle of their short European tour leg, booked into July 8. From there Radiohead will fly to the States to rock New York’s Madison Square Gardens on July 26-27, followed by three Montreal shows in Canada, two Los Angeles and two Austin, TX dates. The rumors about upcoming surprise shows and summer festival appearances haven’t been confirmed yet, reports NME.
