Set It Off have three news in one: a new upcoming record, a world tour and a music video

November 20, 2018

The American rock band from Florida has been dropping one news after the other. The band just released their first single ‘Killer In The Mirror’ from the new record a short while ago, and here comes another new song and an action, hi-tech music video, ‘Lonely Dance.’ “We’re thrilled to share our new video for Lonely Dance with you,” Set It Off wrote on Twitter. “Stay tuned – this is just the beginning.”

And this really was just the beginning. The band has simultaneously announced their upcoming album, Midnight, scheduled for release February 1. In the recent chat with Alternative Press, Set It Off’s frontman Cody Carson shared the following detailed description of the record, putting the emphasis on the “genuine bond” with fans:

“I’m excited to be able to talk about these songs in-depth and not hold anything back because I feel like it’s too easy to want to pretend like everything’s perfect and OK,” he says. “I think people need to understand that we’re just like them. People are convinced that we’re always doing just fine. With the new songs, you can tell that’s not always the case. It’s cool to have [this] connection, and that’s what we really pride ourselves on—that connection we have with people after the show when we’re able to talk to them, see how they’re doing and really form a genuine bond. We don’t want this to be a hotel for somebody; we want this to be a home.”
