Nemo “broke the code” and is bringing Eurovision to Switzerland next year, while Irish singer Bambie Thug broke the “curse” of Ireland’s non-qualifications and brought her country massive success in the contest with the song ‘Doomsday Blue’.

Whether it’s Bambie’s witchcraft or fans’ fondness of gothic aesthetics and spiritual staging, but Ireland reached highly desired top 10 at Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö, Sweden. The non-binary singer, whose performance was described as satanic by many media, received significant appreciation both with juries and public. It came 6th with the jury, 6th with the public votes and 6th overall. Are the triple sixes a mere coincidence?

Eurovision 2024 took place in Sweden, following Loreen’s second win with the song ‘Tattoo’ in 2023, the runner-up being Finland’s Käärijä with viral ‘Cha Cha Cha’.
