Hayley Williams joined the band to perform their song ‘My Hero’ live

Foo Fighters just released their 11th studio album, But Here We Are, and keep on rocking across various music festivals this summer but tonight’s show on the final day of Bonnaroo was different. On their legendary ballad ‘My Hero’ the crowd was in for a surprise. Dave Grohl & co. were joined onstage by Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams. Paramore had just played on the same stage of the festival before Foo Fighters took hold of it, but Williams came back onstage for the performance of ‘My Hero’.

Apparently, the Paramore singer produced quite an impression on Dave Grohl. For one, in the middle of the song, Grohl praised Williams’ signing style, saying: “Aw she’s harmonizing!”, reports Alternative Press. Foo Fighters newest album But Here We Are is quickly becoming fans’ favorite one to date. However, its recording came at a high cost. The band’s drummer Taylor Hawkins died after suffering sudden cardiac arrest while on tour with his band in March 2022. No cause of death was officially given. Reportedly, Hawkins was found to have ten substances in his system at the time of his death. They included opioids, benzodiazepines, tricyclic antidepressants, and THC, the psychoactive cannabis compound.
