To the fans’ delight, Bring Me The Horizon have dropped their first new song of 2023

Bring Me The Horizon had been craving new music from the band for almost a year. The band’s only single last year was ‘sTraNgeRs‘, which Sykes presented during a DJ set at Malta Weekender festival. Now, with their new song ‘LosT’, BMTH seem to continue the topic of being in “a room full of strangers”. Except, this time it isn’t just a room.

The creepy music video for an uptempo punk-rock single is set in a surgical ward. In the video intro, we see the protagonist played by vocalist Oli Sykes getting up from the operating table and stabbing the doctors, surrounding him in preparation for a surgery.

Musically, Bring Me The Horizon are taking a detour from their signature sound into a lighter punk-rock direction, which makes the video, accompanying it, even more disturbing. One cannot help but be puzzled because of the juxtaposition of bloody images (as well as morgue shots) and uptempo melody, seeing medics chasing catch a violent patient.

This summer, Bring Me The Horizon will be touring with Fall Out Boy on their So Much For (Tour) Dust, with support coming from Alkaline Trio, Royal & The Serpent, Four Year Strong, and others.
