The list of Grammy nominees goes on with Arctic Monkeys, Halestorm, Weezer and others

December 7, 2018

That’s one fruitful Friday! The nominees for the 61st Grammys have just been announced, and the list of nominated artists includes quite a few of your favorites! Among those who have received nominations this year are, for one, Bring Me The Horizon in the category Best Rock Song ‘MANTRA’ and Halestorm for Best Rock Performance.

Meanwhile, the competition for Best Rock Album seems especially tense. From Fall Out Boy’s M A N I A to Weezer’s record Pacific Daydream, Ghost’s Prequelle and, finally, album Alice in Chains’ latest album Rainier Fog. Not to mention, how many nominations Arctic Monkeys have received this year!

On a lighter note, you’ve probably watched Lady Gaga starring ‘Star Is Born’ movie this fall (and shed a tear or two), so you’ll be delighted to know that ‘Shallow’ by Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper is among the Grammy nominees as well. And hats off to the good old Backstreet Boys, who made a rather successful return this year with ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’ — a nominee for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Check out the list of nominees in selected categories below. For the full list go to Grammy’s official website. The 61st Grammy Awards will take place on February 10.
