The new song is quite different from ‘The Outsider’, released in December of last year

September 29, 2017

After long discussions on the release details, Black Veil Brides have finally revealed that their new album will be titled Vale and will be released January 22 via Lava / Universal Republic. What does “Vale” stand for? “The Latin translation of Vale is ‘be well, be strong!’ and central to the message of this record. We hope to continue to inspire our fans and friends to embrace their own individuality and inner strength,” explains the frontman, Andy Biersack (via Loudwire).

It’s the band’s fifth studio album, which we had a taste of when the band debuted the record’s first single, ‘The Outsider’, in December of last year. ‘The Outsider’ blew fans away (listen below if you still haven’t) but they had to wait almost a year to hear another album track.

It is finally here! Black Veil Brides have just premiered their new single, ‘My Vow’, which you can hear below. ‘My Vow’ is very different from ‘The Outsider’ and has this raw energy which will get the crowd to mosh and bang their heads on the upcoming tour and culminates with the “singable”, slowed-down chorus so the audience is guaranteed to “woah-oh-oh-oh-oh” along at the band’s live shows.

BVB are as excited about the release of the new album as you are: “I’m not going to tell you it’s our heaviest and most melodic album or the best thing we’ve ever done! But it’s a great record that we’re really proud of and I think the fans are really going to like it and it’s a long time coming,” Biersack said in a recent interview. “It will have been four years since the last album by the time it’s out, so I think people are going to really enjoy it”.

The band has also announced a massive co-headlining tour with Asking Alexandria, which will kick off in 2018, coinciding in time with the album release.

Meanwhile, the new album Vale, is currently available for preorder, and with the preorder comes an instant download of the two songs. See the full tracklisting of the album below.
